Form and mobilize worship teamsShepherd and recruit people to join worship teamEquip the worship team in the theology of worship, spiritually, and in ministry.B. Lead and conduct worship team meetings/rehearsalsC. Lead the worship team and assist in coordinating the worship services.E. Coordinate and encourage special musicF. Be available to lead and/or take part in the musical aspects of ministries such as Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, LOGOS Midweek Program, other special church services/events, funerals, weddings, and other music ministry related opportunities.II. Ministry Team Chair ExpectationsA. Meet monthly with pastor(s)B. Work with the Board of Deacons to organize volunteers to help with servicesAttend meetings as neededC. Position will be held accountable to the highest Biblical standards in calling and in characterIII. Worship Arts MediaA. Explore and suggest Peace's worship media programsB. Prepare/oversee weekly worship music and slideshow presentationC. Coordinate with tech team and pastor(s) for the order of serviceD. Use visual aids (media, images, and objects) that enhance communications in worshipE. Create graphic art-enhanced brochures and flyers to promote the worship ministryIV. Preferred QualificationsA. Proficiency in playing piano and/or guitarB. Good organizational, leadership, and communication skillsC. Work as a team player, caring for fellow leaders and working relationally in accord with the pastor(s)
