The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of litigation matters, supporting our senior attorneys, including strategy, drafting pleadings, discovery, and court appearances.What will you be doing?Manage all aspects of litigation proceedings, from the initial assessment and advice, through to resolution or trialCollaborate with internal teams and external counsel to develop and execute litigation strategiesDraft and review pleadings, motions, discovery and other court documentsRepresent the company in court, at hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and agency proceedingsConduct and manage discovery, including overseeing document collection, review, and production, and conducting fact investigationsProvide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal and business issues, including risk management and complianceMaintain current knowledge of changes in legislation and case law that may affect the company's business operationsDevelop and deliver training to internal teams on legal matters, such as compliance requirements and changes in lawIs your background a match?JD from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey6+ years of litigation experienceDemonstrated experience in managing complex litigation, including commercial and civil litigationStrong legal research, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise mannerStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamHigh degree of professional ethics and integrityAbility to handle a large case load, multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet deadlinesProven track record as an attorney with a high degree of independent judgment
