The Senior Director, Medical Performance and Outcomes (MPO) will support the MPO capability globally to drive the value of Immunology & Neuroscience Medical Affairs. S/he will report to the Executive Director and is a key business partner for Immunology & Neuroscience Medical Affairs. The Senior Director is responsible for developing performance metrics aligned to medical strategies and tactics to demonstrate the value of Medical initiatives across BMS and enable data-driven decision making. Immunology & NeurosciencePartner closely with BI&A, Medical Directors across TAs, publications, and field medical stakeholders to support strategic goals and delivery of impactful recommendationsQualifications & Experience:BA/BS degree required; Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD, MBA)10+ years of experience working within the pharmaceutical industry, both US and ex-US experience strongly preferred5+ years of experience working within Immunology & Neuroscience preferred5+ years of demonstrated management experience mandatory; life sciences management consulting experience preferredProven ability to identify and implement impact measures, organize and analyze data, and interpret and synthesize complex reports to derive key outcomes and develop consumable content for diverse audiencesExceptional business acumen and ability to think strategically, impact and influence senior executives to drive optimal business resultsExpert data storytelling, communication, and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex ideas, advise senior leadership and ensure medical impactAbility to prioritize business needs and be decisive in addressing business objectivesDemonstrated experience collaborating with critical internal stakeholders to understand and meet TA franchise business needsProven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and develop a function with a focus on quick deliverablesExperience collaborating across a matrix, multiple markets, and global geographiesDemonstrated ability to manage timelines and quality of work using strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills in a cross-functional teamStrong enterprise mindset and ability to navigate a complicated matrix environment
