Senior SharePoint Administrator with Active Top Secret Clearance

Business Technology Integrators (BTI) is looking for a Sr. SharePoint Administrator to manage on-prem and O365 environments and to act as a lead in defining and executing systems engineering activities within a project such as process definition and workflow management on our program supporting the Department of Energy (DOE). Position will focus on a wide range of IT services through migration to the Intelligence Community (IC) information sharing, secure cloud-based operational environment, the Intelligence Community’s Information Technology Enterprise (ICITE) along with an array of technical expertise and analytical support which allows DOE and the United States Intelligence Community (USIC) to detect, protect, mitigate, and counter hostile threats directed against DOE networks and critical national assets. Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities (70%): Work with customers to gather requirements. Provide SharePoint support to end users. Provide training to end-users and ensure the effective operation of the SharePoint environment. Build sites to meet customer requirements using out-of-the-box functionality and tools. Develop and manage content databases and site collections. Set up and manage user accounts and permissions. Modernize UI of existing sites. Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint policies, governance, procedures, and user guides. Support migration/modernization efforts for content. Secondary Responsibilities (25%): Install, configure, and upgrade SharePoint systems. Maintain system security and stability, addressing any issues related to performance, availability, or capacity. Design and implement SharePoint infrastructure. Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the SharePoint environment Coordinate with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with SharePoint framework, databases, and other software. Support migration/modernization efforts for infrastructure and design. Tertiary Responsibilities (5%): Manage custom workflows; Support SharePoint Development Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required 10+ years’ experience as a technical architect and designing solutions environments is required Must have an active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Q and SCI clearance. Technical experience supporting Microsoft stack technologies in standard and cloud-based environments. Experience managing multiple and blended SDLC methodologies Ability to support SharePoint Farms across multiple platforms on secure networks. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through an issue from start to finish. Including working with Microsoft Support, etc. Ability to provide afterhours support for escalations as necessary. Good understanding of the change management process and best practices. Experience of migration of on-prem to SharePoint Online is highly desired. Experience with migration tools such as Sharegate is highly desired. Experience troubleshooting and understanding of basic virtualization, networking, and system integration capabilities
