Requirements Business Analyst

to provide client support to our Navy client in the San Diego area. This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. This individual will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and document requirements to ensure successful project delivery. This position offers exceptional upside potential.Established in 2002, The Marlin Alliance is seeking to hire highly skilled individuals to support mission-critical projects within the Navy. We are looking for motivated individuals to lead and support digital transformation, data science and analytics, and automation projects for a variety of Navy clients. Individuals must be able to function in a fast-paced work environment and adapt quickly to rapidly changing requirements and technologies. Using your comprehensive knowledge of various technologies, you will design, develop, and implement solutions to support Navy mission owners in their digital transformation journey.Primary Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering and Analysis.Conduct meetings with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.Systematically collect and document information that guides product or service development.Translate business requirements into clear specifications and detailed test plans.Communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.Produce useful reports based on critical information gathered from stakeholder meetings.Assess options for process enhancement, including business process modeling.Maintain documentation related to various projects, processes, and operations.Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data using data analytics tools.Act as a liaison between different business departments and groups.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s and or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration preferred.Familiarity with submarines.Active CAC Card.Active FlankSpeed Account.High-level capacity to exercise strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver actionable decision reporting.Experience in applying strong analytical skills to support process improvement, studies, and analysis projects.Highly capable of translating complex concepts into concise processes and tactical plans.The work environment for this position requires an individual to be able to:

Work sitting or standing at a desk or conference table for extended periods of time with the ability to shift positions while working: sit, stand, pace, and adjust positioning in any of those without issue.Candidate must have the resources to telework.Walk in the office to collaborate with co-workers, attend meetings, or retrieve documents from the printer.Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.Job Classification
