We are hiring a full-time creative, results oriented outside sales Account Manager in the Los Angeles area. The territory includes the Los Angeles area south to San Diego.

Achieve sales and profit goals by developing existing customers, opening new business, and customer retentionConduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products, services, engineered solutionsPartner with manufacturer reps and our support team to help spec in products / systems that will enhance customer performancePrepare quotes and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactionsOrganize and conduct training sessions for customers, survey market and competitive conditionsComplete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads and other related reportsMonitor customer complaints, follow up on outstanding orders, and make emergency calls and deliveries as requiredQualifications:

5+ year proven sales experienceFluid power components, systems, &/or applications knowledge is preferred.Basic computer skills, including ExcelAbility to open new business, develop relationshipsMechanical aptitude, self starter with a strong desire to succeed, & sense of humorWritten and verbal communication skills including English grammarHigh school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferredValid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (MVR)Fluid Power certification is a plus

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year depending on experience, including potential incentive bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts are tied to company, territory and individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed. All full-time associates are eligible for typical employment benefits expected from an industry leader (including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, life insurance, time off, employee assistance, etc.).
