Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Senior .Net Engineer with a background in development of web applications and API’s leveraging technologies including C#, Angular, .NET Core, JavaScript, and MS SQL Server and Document Store NoSQL. With LPL Financial you have the opportunity to be part of a team transforming user experiences with self-service features for the required records and documents while ensuring the platform scales utilizing the best technology and an elegant architecture.The engineer will be a solution expert, responsible for developing solution, meeting business goals, and guiding a high velocity, multi-functional development team focused on deliverables. The role requires that the candidate be detail-oriented, a strong problem solver, a self-starter, experienced in agile development environment.Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic directionCreate high quality, highly performant, and scalable softwareCollaborate with peer development and support teams, Technical Lead, Product manager/owner, Enterprise Architecture to ensure that project deliverables align with the software architecture and business prioritiesWork collaboratively and effectively with quality assurance engineer teams, DevOps to ensure adherence to Quality and CI/CD processesAssess opportunities for platform/application and process improvementsParticipate in peer code reviewsMaintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems, and design for Application resiliency, scalability and performanceCommunicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and application integration partnersWhat does your success look like in the first 90 days?

5+ years of experience designing applications, developing web services (REST/SOAP) and integrating with third party APIs.5+ years of extensive web/service development experience with the following technologies: .NET, C#, .Net Core, SQL server, PostgreSQL, Node, MVC, Nuget, JavaScript/jQuery, HMTL, CSS, & Angular.Experience adhering to DevOps pipeline including (preferably Git, Github Actions, OctopusDeploy)Skilled in writing/improving SQL server procedures, Views, functions, indexes and performance tuning2+ years of experience with AWS build and deployment and test automation (Integration and Functional)Core Competencies:
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skillsQuick learning skill.Knowledge of code refactoring, dedugging, test driven designKnowledge of design patternsKnowledge of estimation, tools and principlesPreferences:
Experience of working on Enterprise search platforms like - Lucidworks, Coveo, OpenSearch etc.Experience with Mule/Tibco, AWS, Docker, KubernetesPay Range:$111,500.00 - $185,800.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
