Your role:

Develop required web applications and services as per the systems design and architecture defined by following sound development methods, tools, and techniques

Technical implementation, following clean code principles

Implement tools and best practices for release, environment, and configuration management to improve deploy success rates

Contribute to best practices for creating elegant, efficient, and reusable code

Demonstrate your creative, technical, and analytical skills on a regular basis

Collaborate with other global tech and cross-functional teams to work towards global tech solutions

Your team:

You will be working in the Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance (GCRG) Tech Crew as a Software Engineer. The team within the crew engages with various projects and is responsible for compliance and regulatory relevant change deliveries.

Your expertise:

Ideally, 5+ years of professional application development with server-side technologies - Core Java & Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and build tools Maven/Gradle/Ivy

Ideally, 1+ years' experience in Web UI development covering HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React JS

Skills in writing efficient SQL and work on relational databases like PostgreSQL / Azure SQL / Oracle, including Hibernate/JPA, Transaction Management, and Stored Procedure implementation

Familiar with Git as source code repository operating in DevOps principles for task automation and CI/CD pipelines

Experience working in Agile Teams following SCRUM practices and associated ceremonies

You are:

Passionate about technology and development of IT systems and applications

Pay an intense amount of attention to the quality of the product, data, and code you produce

Able to improve older code bases, as well as apply modern best practices to new projects

Curious and collaborative, comfortable working independently, as well as in a team
