POSITION SUMMARYThis role is the glue that binds our brand strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in sales and marketing and to achieve results. You will play an integral role in successful adoption of Clearwater products and services.You know our competitors like the back of your hand: what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. This isn’t guesswork. You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning, messaging, and content that resonates with buyers and generates interest in our products and services.You will collaborate with Marketing team colleagues to develop innovative programs that drive demand. An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our solutions’ value propositions in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems.Along with your Marketing colleagues, you will regularly collaborate with Consulting, Product Innovation, Sales, and Leadership. As such, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be responsible for brand and content marketing across the Clearwater portfolio of services and products, and as a result, must balance multiple projects and priorities. The results of your work will directly drive lead generation and equip our Sales team to be more effective in developing and closing business. The important work you do directly influences our growth, and the success of the company in meeting its objectives.SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIESMarket intelligence—be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop brand positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing messaging and processes based on what you learn.Become knowledgeable on our products and services and the benefits they provide to our clients.Develop, refine and communicate the value proposition of our solutions.Develop marketing plans for the products and services you support in conjunction with the Chief Marketing Officer, including key activities to support the retention of existing clients and the acquisition of new clients.Create presentations, marketing collateral, website content, and other sales and marketing material that effectively communicates the value of our products and services.Develop content, aligned with our brand position in healthcare, that educates buyers on key challenges and the need to take action and positions Clearwater as the right partner to assist themManage the distribution of messaging and content across owned and third-party marketing channels, including website, email, and social mediaPlan and manage the commercialization and launches of net-new products and releases of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.Understand and support our Sales team; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.EXPERIENCE REQUIREDThe Senior Marketing Manager for Healthcare must have at least 8 years of brand and content marketing experience and at least 4 years of experience in the healthcare services or technology arena. The candidate must have experience in developing compelling thought leadership, creating and delivering presentations, managing projects, and meeting deadlines.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & KNOWLEDGEA strong understanding of healthcare industry market dynamicsComfortable using marketing automation tools such as HubSpotFamiliar with collaboration and CRM tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint and Salesforce.comExceptional writing and communication skillsHigh degree of intellectual curiosity with the desire and aptitude to learn and effectively present Clearwater’s products and services in various waysExceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—workingExcellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!Bachelor’s degree in MarketingStrong command of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointHighly resourceful with the ability to solve problems and get things doneSelf-starter, highly entrepreneurial with the ability to excel in a virtual company environment
