OverviewProvide technical and functional expertise in support of the strategic technology and business innovation programs. Analyze business needs and risks to develop and implement innovative solutions that leverage modern systems and functionality. Work with business teams to understand their pain points, risks, and needs related to technology and process redesign. Identifies, coordinates, documents, and implements business requirements by determining solutions that enhance business systems, as well as provides support to business processes. Partner with business, and technology teams to drive strategy and ideation, planning, and execution of activities across product domains with risk/control and process redesign mindsets. Support senior management in developing and executing short to long-term strategic and risk mitigation plans. Considered a key stakeholder and contributor on highly complex technology and process redesign initiatives. Lead full lifecycle project implementation through agile delivery methods. This is a highly collaborative role, where success requires diving deep and building relationships with stakeholders/partners/vendors to support business and technology outcomes.ResponsibilitiesExecute priorities and goals for complex technology and business process redesign projects that align with department/organizational objectivesLeverage product life cycle management and agile practices through change management, risk mitigation, and communicationsApply knowledge of technical solutions and processes; serve as change agent to champion innovation in operations, processes, and procedures and develop best practicesProvide forward thinking technical expertise in current and emerging technologies, trends, and practicesEvaluate operational efficiency and effectivenessAnalyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statisticsUses elicitation techniques to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholder's needsAnalyze, define and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and outputSupervise modeling efforts to ensure that specifications and constructs adhere to appropriate mathematical and statistical standards and answer particular analytic questionsIdentifying business requirements (e.g., needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output)Develop, recommend and document adjustments to workflow to streamline processesCoordinate integration of solutions with existing applications; identify and resolve existing conflicts to ensures compatibilityDevelop and maintain an understanding of relevant industry standards, best practices, business processes and technology used within related business areas to ensure compliance with policy, vendor contractual requirements, procedures, processes and standardsInvolved in cross-organizational task groups concerning new automated systems, products and/or servicesWork with project teams to plan, coordinate and rollout software change/release to Controlled Testing and Production, obtain required approvals as scheduled, and transition project to ProductionInteract with other ISD staff, business units (end users) in problem resolution effortsUtilize performance measurements and indicators to identify areas for improvement; develop process improvement plans for each performance indicator or area identifiedPartner with other business units and vendors to improve procedures, resolve problems, and implement initiatives; presents conclusions and recommendations to managementImplement new/enhanced products, services and/or operational changesIdentify and communicate key responsibilities and practices, evaluate results, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful implementation of business unit projectsLead project teams; assure quality, consistent performance; meet schedules and/or resolve highly technical and complex problemsInterpret results of analysis; present recommendations, alternatives and implicationsServe as resource for the resolution of complex and/or unique problemsLead, guide and mentor less experienced staffWrite requirements and define editorial workflow for business owner projectsEnsure preventative, detective, and corrective controls are properly identified and documentedDevelop test plans, test criteria, scenarios and documentation;
