About The Role

Software developed for the medical device industry requires rigor and attention to detail to meet industry and regulatory standards. It takes someone who can problem solve, is unwilling to give up, and is in tune with the highly regulated nature of medical device software. We're looking for a top-notch software engineer with a focus on quality who has experience with Android development in Kotlin, additional experience with the other framework is a plus.

Your responsibilities include:

Develop a BLE-intensive native mobile application for Android using KotlinProduce highly testable codeWrite automated tests including unit, integration, and functional testsParticipate in design reviews to provide architectural feedbackConduct code reviews with your peersConform to a highly regulated software environmentFocus on patient safetyContinuously improve processes and dev methodologies while working effectively with cross-functional groups

What we're looking for:

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Software or Computer Engineering or Computer Science5-7 years of experience with Android applications1 year or more of using KotlinExperience developing against web servicesThorough understanding of unit testing, mocking, and integration testing of native code

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of continuous integration for AndroidExperience creating automated UI tests with EspressoUnderstanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSSTeam player willing to collaborate with peers & communicate effectively
