Human Resources Training and Development Specialist
Illinois Action for Children (IAFC), a leader in the early childhood care and education sector for over 50 years, is seeking a Human Resources Training and Development Specialist. Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Training and Development, the specialist will design, develop, conduct, and evaluate agency-wide training programs, including needs analysis and performance improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include:Participating in needs analysis studiesAssisting in developing training materialsConducting training sessions for new and current employeesProviding career development guidanceMaintaining the Learning Management System (LMS)Executing workplace core capabilitiesOther duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Training and Development, or related field2-3 years of training or organizational development experiencePrior Learning Management System and course design experience preferredSkills and Abilities:Access to reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance requiredExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to use good judgment and adapt to changeExpert-level skills in Microsoft OfficeBenefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance401k with company matchGenerous PTO and paid holidaysTuition reimbursement and other benefitsSalary:
