We are looking for strong software engineers to build our future front office risk and portfolio management platform. Our ideal candidate will have a background in building complex asset management risk systems in Java, Python, and JavaScript (React or Angular) leveraging AWS cloud components.What You Can ExpectDesign and architect rich user interfaces in JavaScript for our usersBuild and maintain new and existing risk and portfolio management applications in Java and PythonWork side by side with our Portfolio Analyst Group (PAG) team and other front office investment teams.Build and maintain code to manage data received from heterogenous data formats including web-based sources, internal/external databases, flat files, heterogenous data formats (binary, ASCII).Build interfaces for supporting evolving and new applications and accommodating new data sources and types of data.What You Will Bring4+ years of experience in developing in Java, Python, and/or JavaScript.Knowledge of Git, Jira and other common SDLC toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an ability to think in a fast moving and dynamic environment.Proactive and ownership mentalityWhat will set you apart?AWS Cloud experience.Direct experience supporting front office end-users (PM, Quant).Strong knowledge of RDBMSExperience with building microservices using Spring boot framework.Experience in building web applications using Angular or ReactPGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement.
