Central Loan Processing Supervisor - Consumer Loan DocumentationGENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARYDirects the activities of unit processing personnel ensuring loan file compliance with bank policies and governing regulations, and provides appropriate processing and closing support to assigned Loan Officers by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Monitors and directs workflow for all unit loan files in process and ensures timely file completion by coordinating with Section Head, Loan Officers, processors, and closers. Reviews loan documentation for completeness and complexity prior to assigning loans to processors, and reviews and approves daily unit personnel work ensuring compliance with bank policies, procedures, and governing regulations.Identifies and resolves existing and potential unit processing and closing documentation issues between customers, bank personnel, and third party interests on approved loan requests.Keeps staff informed of new policies and procedures relating to document preparation, assists in keeping Section procedures current, and conducts monthly meetings instructing unit staff on new developments and changes to processes and procedures.Reviews and approves general ledger and on-line entry debits, credits, and wire transfers initiated by delegates. Reviews various Director reports to ensure any needed changes/corrections are completed.May be called upon to assist assigned Loan Officers with complex loan documentation and transaction information, prepare Loan Information Sheet, conduct final review of loan documents prior to closing with the borrower, and obtain documentation required by investor or guarantee partners.Directs training schedule for loan processors and management associates during the assigned time in the unit.Performs other work-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Minimum:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and two years commercial loan processing or lending related experience, or five years related experience including two years commercial loan processing or lending related experience; or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience. One year in a lead or supervisory capacity.Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and three years commercial loan processing or lending related experience, or six years related experience including three years commercial loan processing or lending related experience; or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience. Mortgage lending, escrow, title insurance, or loan servicing experience. Two years demonstrated supervisory experience.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to efficiently and effectively manage workflow in a high-volume environment. Familiarity with tax returns and financial reports necessary. Windows-based word processing and spreadsheet experience required, database experience preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to work basic mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts, such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
