Mobile Application Developer

The Mobile App Developer will design, develop, and implement Java Spring Boot based microservices to support business requirements/logic.Hybrid Schedule: Onsite every other Wednesday in Ashburn, VAJob Responsibilities

Follow lifecycle methodologies and develop/test Java Spring Boot based microservices as part of an enterprise cross-platform mobile team.Resolve technical issues through debugging, analysis, research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.Support building and distributing iOS and Android mobile apps through a general understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile development and deployment.Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand and document requirements in JIRA, then elicit feedback and refine solutions through demonstrations.Present solutions at formal and informal design reviews and document the design according to the Government’s system lifecycle methodology.QualificationsBS in Computer Science or related field and 9 years of related experience.Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship.Using Java for Microservices development.Utilizing Spring Boot framework.Desired:CordovaJenkins CI/CDGitLab CI/CDAngularTypeScriptStrong initiative: must be able to take a high-level requirement, ask questions/seek clarifications, and get the job doneGood written/oral communication skills and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levelsExperience working in high-velocity, fast-paced teams and environmentsExperience working individually and collaboratively in response to changing mission needs or requirements
