As part of the Downtown Congregation team at The Austin Stone Community Church, the College Director will be responsible to produce a network of missional communities that makes disciples, mobilizes students toward local and global mission, and generates momentum for the gospel at the University of Texas at Austin. The College Director will report to the Congregation Spiritual Formation Director/Pastor.Lead college ministry in alignment with the vision and spiritual formation strategies of The Austin Stone to strategically reach students at The University of Texas at Austin.Plan, lead, and execute College connection teams, processes, and on-campus connection events.Ensure College ministry resources (human and material) are effectively and consistently deployed, aligning with congregation ministry strategies and policies.Continually assess and report on ministry effectiveness, making improvements as needed.Recruit, develop, and lead volunteer teams, leaders, and coaches toward healthy missional community outcomes.Provide ongoing pastoral care and shepherding of College students, volunteers, and leaders.Collaborate with congregation leadership and provide timely and effective communication.Maintain records and steward the college ministry budget.Supervise and develop the College ministry staff team at the congregation.Teach and preach at training meetings, on-campus events, and Sunday classes.Support the mobilization strategy of the Congregation including the planning, execution, and general oversight of short-term trips.Maintain and further healthy relationships with organizations that share a desire and strategic focus to impact students at UT, Austin.Consult with TAS congregational leadership to support their college ministry efforts at higher education institutions in the Austin Area.Attend and participate in all required events and activities for The Austin Stone, including all Sunday services (including major holidays), staff meetings, prayer meetings, special events, retreats, training opportunities, and staff development days.Required Qualifications

3 years of experience in a manager-level ministry role, leading a ministry team, or equivalent experienceExperience managing budgets and safety initiativesProficiency in Google SuitesAdministration -

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement ministry programming. Integrate multiple perspectives and synthesize them into a cohesive plan. Strong ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, with dependability and excellence.Communication -

Has clarity of speech and proper use of grammar. Demonstrated capacity to inspire, instruct, and encourage through effective communication in various settings. Able to communicate and work within a complex organizational structure with multiple layers of input.Detail Oriented & Organizational Skills

- Proven skills in creating, implementing, maintaining, and following through on processes that ensure people are engaged, cared for, informed and connected. Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Able to create and manage a ministry budget. Able to successfully develop new and better ways to work and promote a continuous improvement mentality.Leadership Development

- Skilled at multiplying effective ministry leaders who can communicate and uphold the values of The Austin Stone. Ability to lead, recruit, resource, and mobilize volunteer teams to scale. Ability to recruit, manage, and lead resident/intern teams. Ability to engage, interact with, teach, equip, and train children in a large group setting. Able to teach and to generate content and curriculum.Collaborative Leadership Skills

- Strong complementary leadership skills in relation to the rest of the congregation staff team and an ability to lead in concert with other leaders. Ability to integrate multiple perspectives and synthesize them into a cohesive plan.
