Company Information
Navigator Recruiting client is a local growing 100-employee CPA firm in south Denver (with one out of state office as well) and a young core group of employees and is seeking an Audit Senior. Although the firm’s client-base is national and international, travel is minimal. There are opportunities to continue to be promoted to Manager and become partner, as this firm has a need for experienced people at the upper level to support its continued growth. This firm is a bit unique in that it doesn’t have any 600 hour audit engagements. Typically, audits engagements at this firm are much shorter (so this firm has higher volume audits) and the audits are typically one-person jobs, requiring the auditors to be good multitaskers. Good review and supervisory skills are key, especially as one moves into a Manager role with this firm. Employees work from home 2-3 days/week and are in the office 2-3 days/week. The firm has good comradery in the office, offers sports leagues for its employees, barbeques and other team-bonding events. There are no mandatory Saturdays during busy season. A full benefits package is offered, including 4 weeks of PTO, half-day Fridays through the summer, a 401k plus a 20% match and health insurance.
Responsibilities
Leading the timely completion of audit clients engagements for a variety of industry groups in and around the Denver metro area
Work closely with managers, partners and team members in addition to client personnel
Display a strong understanding of general accounting standards and auditing procedures
