Job Summary:The Capture Manager will capture opportunities, establish relationships, identify teaming partners, and support all phases of proposal development activities. The Capture Manager serves as a critical role in the company’s business development and proposal writing teams. The Capture Manager will support the development of the company’s pipeline, create a call plan/relationship management strategy, develop an overall solution and strategy, and approach to winning and performing the opportunity, including win themes and discriminators.Create, identify, develop, and qualify opportunities that align to the company’s core capabilities that result in meaningful and measurable revenue growth.Support specific business pursuits and provide the leadership, coordination, resource allocation, strategy, and management needed to prepare the winning bid.Manage transition from opportunity discovery to proposal process, communicate win strategies, customer and competitor status to all stakeholders, and communicate bid strategies to the proposal team.Achieve revenue goals through winning new business, contract recompetes, teaming, and organic program growth.Develop and maintain an active strategic growth plan, and the associated pipeline in alignment and consistent with corporate strategy, goals, and core capabilities.Research and collaborate on the most effective way to present proposed approaches and solutions.Writes clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections.Translates technical and other ideas into easily understandable narrative/text.Rewrites and reviews proposal sections and related proposal documents.Assists with the completion of a high-quality, on-time proposal response.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as liberal arts, communications, or business.6+ years of capturing opportunities for Civilian and Health agencies, including but not limited to Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Department of Energy (DOE), and National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).6+ years of writing proposals for opportunities at agencies referenced above.Must have sufficient technical and/or financial knowledge to influence solution development.Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.Ability to work in a surge capacity at times to meet proposal schedule demands.Ability to adhere to proposal development, review, and production schedules through strong time management.Ability to understand, use, and tailor company’s proposal management templates, including proposal outlines, schedules, past performance, color team reviews, and review briefings.Ability to perform capture on multiple opportunities in a dynamic environment with ambiguity at times.Proficient in Microsoft products, including M365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint Online, and Teams.Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including document formatting, table manipulation, line spacing, and header numbering
