Job Description:
ECS is seeking a qualified Cybersecurity Engineer (Int) to analyze and define security requirements for MLS issues. Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to MLS requirements. Guide effort to gather and organize technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena. Perform risk analyses which also includes risk assessment. Develop security standards.
Responsibilities:
Hands on configuration, tuning, and operating Microsoft security tools MDE, Intune, AIP, Purview, DefenderLead planning and implementation of related technologies in multiple environments.Operate endpoint and cloud security tools for internal testing and customer environments.Provide administration and operationally support adopted endpoint security technology covering EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and Next-Gen Anti-virus solution.Support investigations and contribute to large and small-scale cyber breaches.Understand and follow proper escalation paths for incidents and/or tasking, as necessary.Understand the business need of security and be able to brief customer on its importance and implementation requirements.Deployment and maintenance of cloud security and endpoint applications.Document, maintain, and improve standard operation procedures (SOPs) and processes regarding web security and endpoint management.Stay current on cloud security and endpoint security best practices, active threats, and mitigation strategies.Consistently create, tune, review and analyze policies.Leading, guiding, designing, and developing security strategies and solutions for cybersecurity across a hybrid, multi-cloud environment.Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or network security AND two years of related work experience AND one or more industry security certifications (CompTIA Security , Cloud Security Certificates, CISSP, etc.)OR
Associate's Degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or network security AND four years of related work experience AND one or more industry security certifications (CompTIA Security , Cloud Security Certificates, CISSP, etc.)OR
Six years of related work experience AND one or more industry security certifications (CompTIA Security , Cloud Security Certificates, CISSP, etc.)Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or DOE Q clearance throughout the life of the contract.Must be a US Citizen per contract.Must currently live in Morgantown, WV or willing to relocate.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desired Skills:
Active Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance with the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract.Two or more years experience supporting US Government customers.Project Management Professional certification.Experience supporting complex government and programs of a research and development nature.Experience and knowledge of Trellix, Azure AD, Intune, Entra ID, and co-management.Knowledge of cloud security and endpoint protection best practices.Experience applying technical security controls to address DoD security requirements.Linux and Windows expertise.Experience with Microsoft 365 security services such as Advanced Threat Protection, Cloud App Security, and Azure Information Protection.Cloud workload experience (Amazon Web Services, Azure).APIs integration and troubleshooting.Python and PowerShell.
