Systems Analyst (for WingSwept Client)

WingSwept is seeking a Tier 1 Systems Analyst on behalf of a client located in East Raleigh. This Systems Analyst would be employed directly by the client, who offers competitive pay and benefits, including company-paid health insurance and a 401k match program.
The responsibilities of the position may include:
Provide first-level end-user support, including troubleshooting basic issues with computer hardware, network/internet connectivity, email, and software applications as well as completing user requests for password and user account administrationMaster and manage manufacturing floor system softwareCreate properly formatted tickets for user calls & emails in tracking software as the work occursEnsure constant service ticket flow by escalating tickets that require higher level assistanceCoordinate with MSP for scheduling of service visits and technician support phone calls with usersMaintain inventory of equipmentCommunicate ticket status and document updates to users and MSP as neededFollow prescribed standard operating procedures for the completion of routine tasksPerform basic computer hardware and software installations, configurations, and remediationsCreate, utilize, and maintain documentation for tasks and proceduresRead educational materials as needed and directed for job proficiencyMinimum requirements:
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for daily interactions with end users both in person and on the phoneMust have an affinity for computers and a broad knowledge of various computer systems and how they work.Must have a thirst for knowledge and an ability to quickly tackle new problems by using available research tools and methodical processes to successfully remedy issues with little supervisionExceptional computer and system administration skills on Microsoft based clients and serversFirm understanding of the configuration of basic networking components and peripheralsAbility & willingness to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a calm demeanor and maintaining a "win/win" attitudeHigh school diploma, at least two years of secondary education preferredMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the officeMust be able to work a full-time 40-hour work week onsite at client location in East Raleigh which may include after-hours support at timesExtra consideration given for the following:
Previous experience as a system analyst, help-desk support provider, or equivalent rolePrevious experience with procedure writing or other technical writingIntricate knowledge/experience with workstation, server and network diagnostics, repair, and installationExpertise with MS Windows Server, MS Exchange, or ConnectWiseCompTIA A+, Network+, and various Microsoft certificationsUnderstanding of the fundamentals of DNSExperience with phone installation / programming / maintenance
