HDR needs a high energy, self-starting Senior Marketing Coordinator to support our Northern California Transportation practice.In the role of Senior Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:Support pursuit teams in developing persuasive proposal and interview materialsMonitor client and industry websites for solicitation statusHelp file proposal and presentation material upon submittalSupport management of client relationship management and financial systems to inform reporting metrics and dashboardsMaintain accurate project and resume data in business development systemsArrange for professional photography on projectsSupport development of annual and long-term strategic plans within established company direction and goals, including creating growth initiatives and prioritizing strategic investmentsSupport implementation of key growth initiatives and investments as defined in annual and long-term strategic plansSupport development and implement of client plans, including long-term strategies to capture market share, as assignedSupport solicitation of formal client feedbackAdminister implementation of the go/no-go decision process in accordance with HDR's Matrix of AuthoritySupport content marketing campaigns to strengthen our brand, increase our visibility, and showcase our thought leadersSupport the development and publication of engaging digital content that reflects HDR's brand and elevates our thought leadershipSupport implementation of strategies that elevate HDR's brand and technical talent with industry associationsSupport creation of marketing collateral to support business development efforts.Support fulfilling conference sponsorship benefits, as needed.Support development of engaging internal communications content (announcements, presentations, videos, webinars).Support planning of large, internal meetings (in-person or virtual)Coordinate large, internal meetings (in-person and virtual)Maintain inventory of branded materials used for client visits, conferences and recruitingTrain and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practicesCreate marketing collateral to support business development effortsPlan and fulfill conference sponsorship benefits, as neededDevelop engaging internal communications content (announcements, presentations, videos, webinars)Plan large, internal meetings (in-person or virtual)Articulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantagesParticipate in SMPS, WTS and other professional organizations as appropriateTo succeed in this role, you need the ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail; excellent prioritization and time management skills; with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; the ability to follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision, and a strong spirit of teamwork and outstanding collaborative interpersonal skills.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Communications, or Journalism is preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience5 years document layout and production experienceDeep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional servicesTechnical understanding of the proposal production process for professional servicesProven written and verbal communication skillsProven organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasksHighly articulate, have a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving and good decision-making abilitiesRequired QualificationsA minimum of 2 years relevant industry experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesignDemonstrated 'self-starter' with a history of completing projects with limited oversight
