A premier operator in the Las Vegas area, known for delivering top-notch gaming experiences and entertainment, are currently seeking a talented and passionate In-Play Sports Traders to join their dynamic team and contribute to the excitement of their sports betting offerings.Job SummaryAs an In-Play Sports Trader, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing in-play sports betting markets to ensure a competitive and engaging sportsbook experience for our customers. You will collaborate with various teams to stay abreast of industry trends, monitor live sports events, and make real-time decisions to maximize trading performance.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Monitoring and AnalysisMonitor live sports events, analyze market trends, and assess relevant information to make informed trading decisions.React quickly to changing market conditions and adjust odds accordingly to manage risk and exposure.Implement risk management strategies to ensure the sportsbook's profitability and mitigate potential losses.Utilize trading tools and software to monitor and manage exposure, taking corrective actions as necessary.Live Event CoverageProvide in-play coverage for a variety of sports, including but not limited to football, basketball, baseball, and soccer.Manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring timely updates and adjustments.Collaborate with the trading team, oddsmakers, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment with company goals and strategies.Communicate effectively with team members to share insights and contribute to a cohesive trading strategy.Stay customer-focused and provide an exceptional in-play betting experience by offering competitive odds and a wide range of betting options.Address customer inquiries and concerns related to in-play markets promptly and professionally.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.Proven experience as a sports trader with a focus on in-play markets.In-depth knowledge of various sports, including rules, players, and teams.Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.Familiarity with trading software and tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement savings planEmployee discounts and perksCareer development opportunities
