You will be responsible for leading the development of innovative Machine Learning and Generative AI systems, as well as architecting enterprise-grade Machine Learning platform, microservices, and pipelines.About Team

You will have work to do from day one and you will be counted on to create opportunities that align with the overall organization goals.Some of this role's key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex machine learning solutions that drive business results.Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to achieve their full potential and improve team efficiency.Develop and maintain ML Engineering processes and best practices - setting and enforcing high standards for quality, reliability, and security in deployed machine learning solutions.Work cross-functionally with business, product, data science, front-end engineering, and data engineering teams to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.Effectively communicate technical work to senior/executive leaders in both technical and non-technical settings.Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technologies and trends - acting as a thought leader for ML Engineering within the organization and in the broader technical community.What You'll Bring

Deep knowledge and experience in building complex, large-scale, mission-critical machine learning applications with microservice architecture in Kubernetes.Proven programming skills using standard ML tools such as Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, CUDA, and related frameworks and libraries.Highly resourceful and methodical in solution/architecture/API/codebase design and ability to translate product requirements into engineering blueprints.Experience with common ML model serving frameworks, especially for NLP models/applications. Familiarity with GenAI/LLMs and the related tooling ecosystem is a plus.Experience developing and maintaining ML engineering processes and best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, performance optimization, and model monitoring.Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize requirements across multiple domains and influence stakeholders/peer teams for strategic alignment.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to approach problems in a logical and systematic manner.About Walmart Global Tech
