You'll have the thrilling opportunity to build cutting-edge features from scratch as a member of a team focused on improving the chat experience and bot ecosystem.Your role will involve planning and implementing new features, contributing to front-end and back-end development, and taking shared ownership of the cross-functional product development cycle. With Poe's rapid growth trajectory, this role offers an invaluable opportunity to make a significant impact.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with designers, product, data scientists, QA, and other engineers to deliver interactive, intuitive AI-powered user experiences on PoeIterate quickly on projects, from ideation to launch, using the full web technology stackBe a champion for both user experience and for sustainable, scalable code practicesMinimum Requirements:Ability to be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)5+ years of full-time professional full-stack experience building user-facing consumer web products (excluding internships)3+ years of professional experience with React, Typescript, and GraphQL3+ years experience in Python or similar programming languageProfessional experience leveraging backend storage systems such as MySQL, MyRocks, Memcached, or RedisPreferred Requirements:Passion for Poe and Quora’s products and mission
