Forward Slope currently has a full-time position for an DevOps Engineer to join our Global Security and Engineering Solutions Team.

This position is hybrid and candidate will be required to be onsite in San Diego, as needed. Typically, on-site work will be 3 days per week.

This position has the option to work a 9/80 schedule, which is a compressed work schedule, with alternate Fridays off.

Job Description:Design and implement innovative technologies for automating, integrating, and delivering containerized web applications and services for the Department of Defense (DoD)Day-to-day efforts include working with highly talented professionals and subject matter experts to design, implement, and sustain mission-critical software systems that provide US Navy warfighters with the tools and resources for successfully planning and executing missions

Required Qualifications:

Currently hold an active U.S. security clearance or be able to obtain oneDemonstrated 6+ years DevOps experience with:

Containerization (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher)Infrastructure-as-Code (i.e., Ansible, Vagrant, Terraform, CloudFormation)CI/CD automation tools (i.e., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build, Azure Pipelines)Linux operating systems (i.e., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)Automation and Scripting (i.e., Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.)Cyber security practices (i.e., Active Directory, HBSS, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalentCompTIA Security+ CertifiedDemonstrated experience with :

Cloud computing infrastructure or development (i.e., AWS, Microsoft Azure)Full-stack software development (i.e., Java, .NET, JavaScript, SQL)Utilizing Atlassian suite or equivalent (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Salary Range:
