Salary: $13.15-$17.48

Primary Job Goal:

To assist teachers with incorporating various types of technology into the instructional program in support of the district's mission.

Performance Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform under the general supervision of the principal or his/her designee.Monitor and ensure proper student use of computers.Establish and monitor student behaviors to maintain the integrity of online course activities.Manage the classroom environment and accurately monitor/report student attendance.Conduct small group or individual activities based upon online course requirements.Proctor the online assessment process to ensure academic honesty.Assist with routine record keeping and scheduling of computer laboratory facilities.Oversee basic computer maintenance.Locate, operate and return needed equipment.Assist with classroom housekeeping.Maintain Paraprofessional Certificate and complete required professional learning hours.Maintain reasonable discipline and refer problems to the supervising administrator when necessary.Any other duties assigned by school administrators.

Other Functions:

Daily attendance and punctuality are required to ensure the goals of the work unit are met.Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Working Environment:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires 40% sitting, 60% walking/standing, 20% lifting/carrying, on occasion.

Evaluation: System evaluation completed by supervising teacher and/or Principal/Assistant Principal/Instructional Specialist.
