We are currently searching for a qualified and experienced patent attorney for a booming IP practice. This need primarily relates to the preparation and prosecution of patents, strategic portfolio counseling, patent opinions, technology licensing, and due diligence work. Your specific responsibilities will be dependent upon your capabilities and the ongoing needs of the practice. Depending on your technical background, you will deal with chemical and/or biological patents.
This is an excellent opportunity within a growing practice wherein you will also have the opportunity to use and further develop your client management and development skills. The existing client base is diverse with respect to size and industry. This is challenging work with a talented group of patent professionals.
If you happen to be a rainmaker and/or are in the process of growing your own book of business, this is an excellent platform with a cooperative culture wherein client development is rewarded. No existing book is required or expected, but candidates with portables are encouraged to inquire and apply.
Patent Attorney Requirements:
Strong technical background in chemistry, biochemistry, or molecular biology; an M.S. or higher would be preferredUSPTO license and state barMust have at least 3 years of solid US patent preparation and prosecution experience in life sciences
