The University of Arizona’s College of Nursing is seeking an Associate Dean of Research to support the research mission, increase research funding, and manage the Office of Research and Scholarship (ORS).Duties & Responsibilities:Build on an expanding research foundation within the College.Advance faculty research capacity and provide mentoring.Facilitate innovative research and collaborations.Attain extramural research funding and increase collaborations.Manage resources of the ORS and conduct staff recruitment.Initiate the recruitment of research-intensive faculty.Expand personal research program and scholarship.Serve as a member of the College Administrative team.Act as liaison for research initiatives and interface with the Office of Vice-president for Research.Create visibility for research initiatives and build partnerships with the community.Minimum Qualifications:
Terminal degree in Nursing or a health-related field.Preferred Qualifications:Administrative leadership experience in academia.Record of professional service and scholarship activities.Program of scholarship commensurate with rank of Professor with tenure.Rank:
