Job Description:DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe Intensive Care Unit provides direct care or influences care for acutely/critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems. The ICU provides care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSCurrent unencumbered Oregon RN license required.Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS required.GSR ICU-CCU:ACLS, PALS and TNCC preferred.Previous ICU experience preferred, will train qualified RN with other Critical Care experience.Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.Position Urgency:NormalShifts:Days (0700-1930) rotating weekendsState License Details:Must Be Currently ActiveMinimum Years of Experience:1Minimum Guaranteed Hours:36Specialty Type:NursingSub Specialty:Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU)General Certifications:BLS/BCLSBilingual:NoEMR Used:EPICHoliday Coverage Required:Yes
