IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our IT team. The IT Support Technician is responsible for the primary support of systems in use by all end users; ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and associated partners; provide on-site support to end users for a variety of devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals; and take the lead on help desk response to issues, assist with regular administration of systems as well as support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out solutions.Candidate should be a motivated and skilled individual with the experience and ability to face a variety of IT challenges in a dynamic environment. They should be focused on customer service, teamwork, communication and problem-solving, with the ability to work within project timelines and meet deadlines.
REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide top-tier support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. Work with users in person, over the phone, and using online chat to resolve issues.Install new / rebuild existing workstations and servers, configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.Support manufacturing systems by assuring secure and reliable operations of stand-alone and network interfaced equipment.Perform regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.Contribute to and maintain system standards, including installation and configuration procedures.Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.Maintain user accounts and groups.Perform periodic backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media.Assist with tracking equipment life-cycles for hardware and software.Must be able to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner.Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.Additional job duties as assigned.Position reports to the IT Manager.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong knowledge of Windows computing.Minimum 4 years help desk and system administration work experience.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience working with Nutanix Virtualization, or other Virtual machine environments.CompTIA A+ certification.Microsoft Systems Administration/System Engineer certification.Microsoft 365 Online, Microsoft Exchange Server.Microsoft SQL Server Administration.Experience with LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet systems.Familiarity with manufacturing processes and ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics ERP and Epicor ERP.3CX VoIP Phones.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Will occasionally/frequently stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift up to 50 lbs.Responsibilities sometimes require installation/lifting of heavy equipment and use of/climbing ladders.This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Additional hours, including possible evenings/weekends, as required.We are ITAR Registered (International-Traffic-In-Arms-Regulations). Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
Pay Range : $25 to $30 per hour.
