We are currently seeking a Senior System Administrator to work with our Network Operations team. This is an onsite position in our Baltimore, MD location. The System Administrator's role is to work as part of a team to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network and cloud services. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, optimizing and securing all network hardware, software and communications links. The person will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely accurate fashion and provide end user training where required.

Job Responsibilities:Manage servers and cloud offerings including email, print, web, database, file and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software as well as all storage systemsManage security solutions including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion prevention systems.Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSsEnsure network connectivity of all workstations in all officesAdminister and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rightsPerform server, storage, and security auditsConducts research on network products, services, protocols, and standardsRecommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairsMaintain confidentiality with regards to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.Document network problems and resolutions for future referenceLight travel requiredREQUIREMENTS:

A 4-year degree relating to Information Technology - comparable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeA minimum of 5 years of relevant experienceUS Citizenship is requiredMust be able to lift 40 lbs.Applicant must have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordAt least 5 years of experience supporting users and computers systems with a minimum of 3 year of recent experience as a System Administrator supporting more than 200 computers and 20 servers with a proven proficiency in the following areas is required:

Windows Server installation, configuration, management and supportClear understanding of standards and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCPOutstanding Customer Service oriented attitudeProficiency in two or more of the following technologies is required:

Cloud-based productivity suites (Office 365 is preferred)Cloud-based collaboration tools (Microsoft Skype for Business/Teams VoIP Phone Management preferred)Cloud-based infrastructure SaaS solutions (Azure AD, Exchange Online and OneDrive Management ideal)VMware vSphere management (VDI infrastructure management experience is a major plus)Active Directory design and managementSwitching/Routing (Juniper experience is preferred)Implementation and/or management of storage solutions (SAN, NAS, etc.) preferably NetAppBackup solution experience preferably Backup Exec and/or VeeamPalo Alto Firewall configuration and maintenanceDesired Skills/Achievements:

Experience designing technical solutions based on vendor specifications and organizational requirementsOperational experience with one or more mainstream Linux distributionsWillingness to work occasional off-hours and weekends as requiredPatience and experience in working with both technical and non-technical usersStrong oral and written communication skills essentialBenefits:
