NEW Clinical Laboratory Scientist OR Immunohematology Reference Laboratory CLS Opening at a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides blood and blood components to area hospitals. This facility also is known for its medical research to improve blood safety and patient care. This well-established organization is looking to hire a permanent and full time Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist on Day Shift (including Saturday and Sunday)!
This position is responsible for performing routine testing of biological specimens and reviewing test results and quality assessment data. This position is also responsible for providing skilled technical support in the laboratory. For consideration, applicants must have his or her California License as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) in addition to a B.S. degree. SBB certification preferred. In addition, applicants should have experience in either an immunohematology reference laboratory or in a high volume blood bank laboratory.
Compensation package includes a highly competitive hourly rate ranging from $45/hrand $52/hr and fantastic benefits including: medical, dental and vision plans; 401k retirement plan; life insurance; tuition reimbursement; PTO; paid holidays and flexible spending program.
