We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for key client relationship development and management, and project management from conception to completion. It’s this collective passion that drives excellence in everything we do.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOversees assigned urban stormwater projects and other water resource projects to ensure that the project meets the scope, schedule, and budgetDevelops the scope of work, schedule and fee for each of their projects in coordination with Production Group LeadersDevelops a Project Work Plan for distribution to the project teamDevelops a thorough understanding of the client’s expectations and objectives for the projectParticipates in preparing qualification/proposal submittals and presentations to clientsMonitors assigned projects using financial project management systemParticipates in securing funding with State and Federal agencies, if requiredApplies engineering experience and expertise to assist design team in developing engineering solutions to meet the client’s expectation for the project requirementsAnswers questions and gives daily guidance to project teamMonitors and ensures prompt delivery and payment of client invoices by adhering to company’s AR collection policies and proceduresCoordinates with leadership to review scope, schedule, fee, project profitability, billings, collections and project-specific client/quality issues on each projectEnsures project team adherence to all company standards and policies related to project execution and managementServes as a trusted advisor to key clientsWorks in collaboration with Business Development to obtain new clients and workTravels for project coordination, as requiredOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldRegistration as a Professional Engineer in the state where the office is located or ability to obtain registration within six months8+ years of experience in the civil engineering field with an emphasis in urban stormwaterAbility to market and sell urban stormwater engineering servicesUnderstanding of engineering contractsAbility to prepare engineering records and to write concise technical reportsAbility to supervise and lead project teams to successfully execute engineering projectsAbility to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlinesAbility to understand, in general, other engineering discipline principlesAbility to read and interpret appropriate design, regulatory, funding and administrative codesMust have excellent communication skillsMust have a valid driver’s license and be insurableThe culture at Moore Engineering, Inc. is built on our shared core values – Respect, Integrity, Accountability, Loyalty, and Kindness.Respect means that we honor our co-workers, appreciate cultural differences and value all viewpoints brought in good faith.Integrity means we remain consistent and honest, and uphold our obligation to the health, safety, and welfare of the people at the center of our work.Accountability means we take responsibility for our actions, to commitments we make, and to our role in creating company success.Loyalty means we are dependable and faithful.
