We have a strong academic program committed to growing the next generation of healthcare professionals that is affiliated with the University of Queensland Medical School, a Medical School planned at Xavier University, and a longstanding independent Orthopaedic residency program.The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in Orthopaedic Oncology to join our team & expanding practice in New Orleans, LA. The practice site will be at the Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center located at Ochsner Medical Center, through a collaboration with the Cancer Service Line. The Orthopedic Oncology surgeon will be supported by an Advanced Practice provider and nurse navigation.The ideal candidate should possess:Proven track record of surgical excellenceCommitment to patient care and safetyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamThe Orthopedic program at Ochsner Medical Center is comprehensive, which includes surgeons with subspecialty expertise in Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine, Pediatrics, Spine, Foot & Ankle surgery, & Hand, Wrist, Elbow, and Shoulder Treatments.
