Our team can design, fabricate, and stage ductwork, piping, and pre-skidded equipment ready for delivery and installation. Our team also uses cutting edge design and construction technologies which create 3D, BIM and virtual models used to increase design and installation efficiencies.We are currently adding a Mechanical Project Manager – HVAC & Plumbing to our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing mechanical plumbing and HVAC projects, including coordination with field personnel. The Mechanical Project Manager will be tasked with completing projects on schedule, within budget, and adhering to the standards for safety and quality.Key Responsibilities

Budget development, management, tracking and updatingSchedule development, management, tracking and updatingReview WIP logs and track labor hoursMonitor project labor and communicate upcoming scheduling needsManagement and coordination of subconsultantsWrite and administer subcontracts/exhibitsAttend job walksDevelop and update project schedulesTimely tracking of RFIs and change ordersParticipation in OAC meetingsLead the project’s quality process; QA/QC for materials and installationAssist with the development of project scopesReview subcontractor bids and support with the selection of subcontractorsOversee material procurement process to facilitate project schedulesReview and approve material, equipment, and rental needsWork in close collaboration with Superintendents and ForemenCoordinate with Superintendent in development of a project site logistics planMonitor project costs and Job Cost Report; analyze and forecast quarterly Total Cost Projection reportsMaintain thorough understanding of the contract and contract documentsComplete timely and accurate monthly billingLead project close-out processesDevelop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors and owners to represent Axis Mechanical valuesProvide training and mentoring to project engineersQualifications

5+ years of professional experience with mechanical and plumbing construction projectsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred but not requiredPrior experience managing project teams and subcontractorsDeep understanding of mechanical/plumbing code and installation practicesExpertise in complex mechanical systems and means/methods of installationAbility to communicate with a broad range of people including subcontractors, suppliers, field crews, designers, and owners
