Please read before submitting:**Traveler must meet all minimum requirements below to be consider (**see schedule requirement)**Do not submit traveler who have or will have expiring licenses and/or certifications during time frame of entire assignment. Traveler will automatically be declined.**Only submit traveler who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Surg/OR - Pre/Post to:Be responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of a complex, varied surgical population.Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and/or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably.Minimum Requirements:Facility Requirement:Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile).Experience:Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Critical care background.Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).Licensure and Certification:Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLYReferenceNeeds 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only).FloatingTravelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
