ClassificationSenior Project Manager- Triad - Job DescriptionSalariedReports ToVP Wilmington DivisionSummaryThe Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases and participants in a construction project.Roles & ResponsibilitiesPosition every project for Owner success and Bobbitt success.Assist and collaborate with the Preconstruction Team for constructability and budget reviews.Develop schedules and cost-effective plans for completion of any assigned project during Preconstruction and Construction.Be involved in the sales process and attend RFQ’s Interviews and Owner meetings.Originate all Subcontracts and Purchase Orders in accordance with Bobbitt standards.Coordinate and schedule the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, communicating to and via project foreperson to deliver instructions and project assignments as appropriate.Regularly inspect work for quality and timeliness; prepare and provide progress reports to owners and architects; make recommendations for necessary modifications.Responsible for accurate cost management and CTC reporting.Collaborate with architect, engineer, attorney, and other pertinent stakeholders to ensure specifications, zoning requirements, and other regulations are met.Run multiple projects at the highest caliber of professionalism and proficiency.Ability to manage complex projects and personnel.Assist with Bobbitt Project Close-out Process.Required Knowledge, Experience & CompetenciesValid driver’s license.OSHA 30 certificationAbility to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.Thorough understanding of legal requirements relating to construction and building sites.Thorough understanding of quality building practices.Proficient with PROCORE Construction Management software.Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and customer service skills.Experience with completing submittals (and logs), RFI’s (and logs), PCO’s (and logs).Run efficient Owner Architect Client meetings.Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite).Experience with complex projects.Experience completing profitable projects on time.Full responsibility of the financial outcome of the project.A solid client base in place.Experience growing and mentoring a team and leading by example.Preferred Knowledge, Experience & CompetenciesBachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required.At least eight years Project Management experience.MS ProjectSenior Project Manager is a Seller / Doers with an existing book of business and clients that negotiate work with the Senior Project Manager.Senior Project Manager is the single point of contact and Relationship Manager for their projects.Ability to lead the client interview process with limited assistance from the Business Developer.Supervisory RequirementsDirectly supervises the positions of Project Manager (I and II), Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers.Display a positive “can-do” attitude.Display and practice the Core Values of the company.Integrity – Ownership Mentality – Team Focus – Oriented on the Customer – Details Matter.Offer input to Division Leader and Company Management.Be an example to co-workers at every level; Office and Field.Look for / pursue new Subcontractor and Vendor relationships.Investigate new construction materials / methods and pursue new learning opportunities.Strive for Time Management – make the most of every day – balance Work, Family, Recreation, and Sleep.Work FormatThis position requires team collaboration and presence at in-person meetings and is best suited to a traditional work schedule.
