Description:You will be a Cyber Security Engineer in the Program Protection Organization. Our organization oversees all aspects of Anti-Tamper and embedded Cybersecurity across Missiles and Fire Control. We are chartered with providing the skills and innovative technologies to develop, design, produce and sustain secure products across our Lines of Business.What You Will Be DoingAs the Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing anti-tamper and embedded cybersecurity solutions across Missiles and Fire Control’s deliverable products.Your responsibilities will include:Providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon SystemsAssessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycleValidating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation, and analysis for embedded Weapon SystemsImplementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and softwareDesigning, implementing, deploying, and maintaining state-of-the-art System Security architectures and countermeasures to protect and enable innovative new Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control productsPrototyping and testing System Security countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks against Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Weapon System productsIntegrating yourself amongst Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers to define and integrate System Security Engineering into a wide range of high integrity, security, and safety-critical SystemsBasic Qualifications:Must be able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to beginning employment, and then obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance while employed to be considered for this positionExperience working within the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC)Implementing System Security requirements on DoD systems to meet U.S. government compliance requirementsExperience supporting validation and verification of security requirements on DoD systemsPossess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date in order to meet program requirementsDesired Skills:Experience developing embedded DoD National Security Systems (NSS) requiring Systems Security Engineering implementations is preferredDesign experience through the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC) developing embedded system security solutions for DoD weapon or tactical systemsTactical as well as strategic thinking and creative problem solvingExperience with embedded systems designExcellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectivelyExperience with embedded system vulnerability scanning and Software Assurance (SwA) activitiesStrong understanding of System Security Engineering (SSE) principles and process. (NIST SP 800-161)Experience in the identification, decomposition, allocation, and verification of NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls on DoD systemsExperience in supporting Security Verification testing on developed DoD Weapon SystemsFamiliarity with missile and/or aircraft fire control system interfaces, design, and operationSystems Engineering experience with Open System Architecture design and partitioningUnderstanding of Critical Program Information (CPI) assessment and protection strategiesUnderstanding of NSA-approved cryptographic standards and methods, and/or practical application of cryptographic algorithmsExperience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (Cameo desirable), DODAF views, development of MBSE diagrams
