EOIR Immigration Attorney

A law firm in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced EOIR Immigration Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload involving removal proceedings, defensive immigration applications, USCIS filings, and client consultations. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with a dedicated Immigration Team and manage a team of paralegals.Job Responsibilities:Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, USCIS, and Board of Immigration Appeals.Prepare defensive immigration applications, including I-589, 42A, 42B, I-485, SIJS, and PD requests.Review and prepare immigration applications and USCIS filings such as I-130, I-601A, and U-Visa.Conduct client meetings to strategize and provide legal analysis.Manage a team of paralegals to ensure high-quality customer service and efficient case management.Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.Fluency in Spanish preferred.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.Familiarity with Case Management Software preferred.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission by waiver.3-5 years of experience practicing immigration law, specifically handling EOIR cases.Strong understanding of immigration law and procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Prior experience managing a caseload and leading a team of legal professionals.
