is now hiring a Production Material Handler for its Little Rock, AR location. This position offers growth opportunities in a stable and safe work environment.Responsible for the coordinated movement of containers to and from locations within the plant and ensuring load/containers, etc., are balanced and secured before moving.Scrap removal from machines.Pallet movement to and from machines.Movement of totes through decanting to and from work cells to support in-process inventory.Accurately completes all paperwork as required, including Pre-Shift Equipment Inspection forms.Support maintenance of inventory through identifying, verifying, labeling, and placing material.Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped.Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory.Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them.Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight.Perform and report cycle counts.Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred.Background in manufacturing with experience in quality and safety initiatives.Must hold a valid counter-balance forklift certificate.1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred.Forklift experience required.Ability to work on a 2/2/3 schedule.Ability to perform well in a customer-driven, safety-conscious organization.Ability to understand and work well with team members, both in operations & support teams.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to learn ERP systems and willingness to learn the computer side of the job.Ability to lift 25-30 pounds repetitively.
