Don’t settle.”You are a Tax Senior Analyst in the Compliance & Reporting (“C&R”) function within the Global Tax Organization supporting all business segments of the company. You play a critical role in many workflows in the entire tax reporting cycle, including the global tax provision, federal compliance, and state compliance. As a critical member of the Global Tax Organization, you are responsible for driving effective tax advisor service to all the businesses in the U.S. You are a key contributor in transforming tax processes and translating knowledge into actionable insightsWhat would I be doing?Key responsibilities are:Prepare and review U.S. tax reporting of federal & state tax returns for domestic corporations, professional corporations, partnerships, and disregarded entitiesPrepare and review US GAAP income tax provisions and uncertain tax positions for domestic corporations, domestic and foreign partnerships, foreign corporations, and disregarded entitiesDrive the preparation of various analysis to drive effective review of consolidated federal and state tax returnsActively participate in the consolidation of the global tax provision including analysis of deferred taxes, income tax payable/receivable, total tax expense, and effective tax rateActively participate in leveraging tax insights to drive effective business support for all global business units, including forecasts and cash tax planningCultivate tax technology and drive the transformation of tax processesSupport responses to federal IRS and state tax audit authoritiesTrain and coach tax associates and interns to grow their leadership as well as functional competenciesThis role is critical in the Global Tax organization Compliance & Reporting function/team. The senior analyst plays a critical role in delivering statutory and internal deliverables timely and with quality. The senior analyst will work directly with the domestic business in providing effective business support. With the insights and “knowhow” from various workflows, this role drives tax process transformation.What would make me qualified?Education & Professional QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university requiredCertified Public Accountant license or Enrolled Agent license encouragedKnowledge / Experience4-6+ years of corporate tax experience, including federal, state tax, international tax, with some public accounting experience preferredLarge corporate multinational tax environment experience including financial statement accounting, federal and state U.S. income tax compliance, tax accounting methods, and tax planningExperience preparing global income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740Proficiency in data analytics systems (Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI, Tableau) with implementation experience preferredExperience in tax process transformation preferredExperience working within a team environment, including with teams in various geographic locationsExperience in tax reporting systems (ONESOURCE Income Tax and Provision and Dataflow, GoSystems) with implementation experience preferredExperience using and implementing workflow tools, such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or Smartsheet applications preferred
