In this position, you will be responsible for driving key operating mechanisms such as forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Finance, you will join a team dedicated to continuous improvement, process excellence and collaboration. We are seeking a candidate with a strong financial background who enjoys working in a high-visibility role, conducting in-depth analytics, and engaging in proactive process planning.ResponsibilitiesAccurate and timely completion of month end close process for ~$7B LSG businessPrepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsConduct variance analysis, comparing actual results against forecast and budgets, identifying trends, assessing KPI's and providing insights and recommendations to finance leadershipAssist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including but not limited to; consolidating Division submissions, loading Group forecasts, and facilitating tie out processes in a highly matrixed environmentContinuously evaluate and enhance financial reporting portfolio, identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve insightsLeverage systems and tools to automate reporting processes wherever applicable, streamlining efficiency and accuracyBecome trusted partner for all LSG FP&A reporting and analyticsPerform ad-hoc analysis and provide business insights to support leadership decision makingMinimum Requirements/QualificationsBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field3+ years of progressive experience in FinanceComprehension of financial statements and how to use them to analyze a businessIndependent, problem solver with a mindset for continuous improvementHigh level of attention to detail and organizationOutstanding Excel and data analytics skills; demonstrates intellectual curiosityExperience with Hyperion Planning, SmartView, or similar systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong ability to communicate and collaborate with senior managementExperience in a complex, multinational, heavily matrixed organizationEmbraces challenges in a continuously evolving environmentCompensation And BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00-$154,700.00. This Position May Also Be Eligible To Receive a Variable Annual Bonus Based On Company, Team, And/or Individual Performance Results In Accordance With Company Policy.
