ax return.As a Senior Tax Planning Specialist, you will work as part of a team with Financial Advisors to develop financial strategies and reduce individual client’s tax liability. In addition to completing tax analysis and preparing returns you’ll collaborate with the other specialists to find opportunities for your clients.Essential Job Functions:Analyze Tax LiabilityPrepare Tax ProjectionsPrepare and file Tax ReturnsPrepare and deliver presentations to clients and prospective clientsDevelop and maintain client baseMarket and sell appropriate tax plansAttend meetings and continuing education sessionsTake a holistic approach with a team of financial professionals to service higher income and net worth clients.Comply with all industry rules and regulationsRepresent clients in front of the IRS and state revenue departmentsAll other Task AssignedEducation/Knowledge & Skills:Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, stringent deadlines, and multiple clientsStrong sense of professional and personal accountabilityBasic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications3+ years’ experience preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trustsEnrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly motivated and a self-starterStrong leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial spiritBenefits:Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401K, Vol LTD, Vol Life, Flexible Spending
