Our client is currently seeking resumes for a Senior Litigation Attorney. Candidates should have more than 10 years of experience in litigation. They must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, pay close attention to detail, and excel in multitasking in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ability to collaborate with other attorneys and take a leadership role on individual assignments is also essential.
Responsibilities
Lead Counsel: Take on the role of lead counsel in a range of litigation matters with significant consequences, demonstrating expertise and a capability to effectively handle complex cases.Trial and Arbitration Expertise: Possess a strong background as a primary or secondary chair in trial and arbitration proceedings, showcasing your ability to excel in adversarial proceedings and advocate for clients.Client Representation: Engage directly with clients, including senior executives of the organizations we represent, providing assistance in deposition preparation, counseling, and navigating the implications of ongoing litigation.Motion Practice: Regularly present and argue dispositive motions, demonstrating proficiency in shaping case outcomes.Trial Preparation: Play an integral role in all aspects of preparing for arbitration, bench, and jury trials, including voir dire, witness preparation, and post-judgment motion practice.Precedent-Setting Cases: Contribute to litigating cases with high stakes.Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Uphold and promote our firm's dedication to principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work and interactions.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree acquired from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.A minimum of 10 years of substantial experience in litigation.Prior experience with jury trials is preferred.Proven track record in both 1st and 2nd chair trial and arbitration experience.Demonstrated exceptional litigation skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to the promotion of diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.
