WIELAND’s Senior Project Managers take ownership and drive relentlessly in all facets toproduce a successful project. They will provide support for the overall direction, completion, andfinancial outcome of a project. The Senior Project Manager may be working with several projectteams and must be able to prioritize and multi-task. They will report to the Regional Director,Managing Director and CFO.

Job Functionso Oversee and review the bidding/buyout of projects by determining the subcontractingstrategy for the project and preparing front-end documents and bid processes under variousproject delivery methods.o Review overall project status with client throughout project to maintain and fosterrelationship.o Review, understand, and communicate the Owner Contract terms to the project team for riskmanagement and decision purposes.o Direct and oversee project delays with Project Team to notifyOwner/Architect/Subcontractors of delays and/or potential delays.o Communicate with Owners, Architects and Subcontractors related to project risk, timetables,costs/budgets, and change management.o Monitor project health with Project Management Software to ensure the project team isutilizing and maintaining the Project Tools (Daily Reports, Schedule, Inspections, etc.) toWIELAND SOP's.o Hold weekly team meetings to evaluate any risk or concern and bring any issues to theRegional Director's attention. Ensure project goals are being met.o Mentor project team by communicating clear, challenging, and measurable goals to ensureemployee expectations are known.o Prepare contingency plans for potential risks, expanding contractual services and projectprofit to mitigate risk and legal ramifications.o Assist Project Executives and Regional Directors with implementing Corporate StrategicInitiatives with their team members.o Lead dispute resolution with employees, subcontractors, and suppliers while setting realisticexpectations and delivering on commitments.o Perform Pre-Construction Planning, Scheduling, and Cost Control.o Oversee preparation and distribution of Commitments/Subcontracts within 30 days of projectaward and execution of the Owner Contract.o Responsible for oversight regarding submittals, RFI's, Punchlist, Closeout and the relateddocumentation control.o Verify all subcontractors have a signed subcontractor agreement, any necessary bonds andcorrect insurance before they begin work onsite and monitor future compliance.o Verify coordination of all project requirements/reviews with authorities having jurisdiction.o Participate in post bid interviews to verify scope, schedule, and cost resulting in selection ofSubcontractors that will represent WIELAND.o Prepare executive report including Budget, and Forecast Analysis, Schedule, and Safety.o Meet with project team at job site location as project demands.o Successfully Review / Approve invoices in a timely manner.o Manage change events for completion within 30 days.o Review and approve the project schedule and confirm weekly distribution.o Coordinate with Owner, Design Team, and Consultants for Owner incentives includinggrants, TIF, brownfield credits, etc. and assist with reporting as required to the properauthorities.o Schedule and hold monthly financial meetings with Project Team to update Project FeeReconciliation, Cost Projections, and S-Curves.o Provide jobsite leadership by promoting safety, schedule, and quality.o Ability to foresee any problems, create solutions and communicate effectively to team.o Communicate positively and effectively with other companies and departments.o Maintain the cohesiveness of the project team.o Build a high-performance culture focused on delivery and excellence.o Perform reviews for employees and project teams you oversee.o Participate in business development activities.o Participate/lead in Owner contract negotiation.o Ability to receive methods for improvement or constructive criticism.o Actively lead by example and champion diversity in everyday actions and decisions.o Respects differences and similarities; listens and takes the time to understand viewpoints ofothers.o Maintains and displays company values and culture.o Flexibility to travel as projects demand.Key Performance Indicators

Qualificationso 10 years of construction management experience.o Procore experience, preferred.o Strong leadership and managerial skills.o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.o Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.o Ability to understand and use technology in the field.o Ability to travel as needed.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
