We want to know what really works, what doesn't—and why.Nuna partners with healthcare payers, including government agencies and health plans, to turn data into learnings and information into meaning.YOUR TEAMThe mission of the Data Organization within Nuna is to empower industry-wide value-based care adoption by leveraging data-driven insights for the enhancement of value-based payment operations, population management, decision making, and patient outcomes in an efficient, secure, and ethical manner. The primary objective of the Data Organization is to harness healthcare data to support and promote value-based care contracts between health systems, providers, health plans, and other third-party risk bearing entities; incentivize quality, utilization, and experience outcomes; and enhance payment operations with both services and product development.The Health Data Analytics team is accountable for both performing analysis to drive client and product success as well as codifying complex value-based care concepts via scalable programming. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to form deep partnerships with a cross-functional team in order to drive product development and program implementation through data expertise and analysis.Health Data Analysts provide thought leadership to product managers and influence Nuna’s product roadmap with a focus on analytics methodology, tooling maturity and scalable healthcare solutions. They are responsible for the design and deployment of reusable healthcare-based logic in support of accurate and scalable value-based payment solutions.YOUR OPPORTUNITIESPartner with engineering teams and operations to implement client program logic into code and configurationsCollaborate with product, client management, engineering teams and the client to verify and validate Nuna’s implementationCollaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, and Design to identify and design new ways to extend Nuna’s products to better serve customer needsDevelop metrics and analytical approaches to drive value-based healthcare solutionsQUALIFICATIONSRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in quantitative or engineering fields (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Health/Medical Informatics, Computer Science, or similar)3+ years of experience working with healthcare data paired with a passion to connect with, understand, and shape the healthcare industryStrong oral and written communication skillsKeen attention to detailDeadline drivenProficiency in SQLExperience with statistical and analytical methodsPreferred QualificationsExperience with value-driven payment arrangements, healthcare financial models, or provider quality measurement strategiesExperience working with healthcare plans or providersClient-facing experienceExperience with programming languages such as Python or equivalentExperience with DBT, Databrick, Snowflake, and AWSExperience with unit tests and data qualityWe take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, and skillset.Nuna is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
