Our startup client is looking for a mission-driven engineer to join their growing team. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their public web applications and providing a positive digital experience for their game studio partners and their end-users.
Responsibilities
Lead the technical design of a Next.js web application, working with UX designers and junior engineers to build a responsive, user-friendly interface, while implementing best practices for web performance, scalability, and maintainability.Lead the launch and scaling of their product to support tens of partners and tens of millions of concurrent users.Ensure that backend and frontend systems operate smoothly in production by triaging and resolving operational issues.Be a champion for security best practices in the frontend and backend, to protect sensitive user data against emerging threats.Conduct code reviews and mentorship to elevate team capabilities and product quality.Help build a positive and inclusive work culture.
Requirements
BS in Computer Science or equivalent5+ years of engineering experienceExperience with Typescript, React, Next.js, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, and KubernetesExperience shipping mature backend systems at high scaleExperience working with UX designers to build delightful frontend user interfacesDesire to work in an early stage, fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguityExcited to primarily be an individual contributor with a ton of ownershipAbility to work during a daily overlap of a few hours with the rest of the team (starting 14:00 UTC)Excellent communication skills in English
