OVERVIEW

Alo Yoga is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategy, preferably within the retail or fashion industry. This role will be pivotal in driving financial performance, providing strategic insights, and supporting key business decisions. As the Director of FP&A, you will report directly to the Vice President of FP&A and work closely with senior management to ensure the financial health and growth of Alo Yoga.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the FP&A team in developing and executing the financial planning process, including annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and drive company growth.

Analyze and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and evaluate potential business opportunities.

Prepare Monthly Reporting Package, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), for the executive team.

Create presentations for key stakeholders.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.

Manage and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Drive the implementation and optimization of FP&A tools and systems to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Support ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles.

Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to senior management and stakeholders.

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.

Skilled in use of forecasting software. Prior experience with Anaplan is a plus.

Highly proficient in Excel with ability to maintain and update complex financial modeling and KIPI trackers and quickly build detailed models from scratch.

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

Experience in the retail or fashion industry is a plus.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

The base salary range for this position is $170,000-$220,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
