Location

This position is a hyrbid role that is located in New York. You will be expected to work onsite two days a week.

What we do:

Executive Insights Team at Circana consists of experienced team members in CPG with management consulting/Insights/Thought Leadership backgrounds, focused on developing leading thinking in the CPG industry and strategic opportunities for clients. We engage with the C-Suite level audience of large CPGs and retailers on macro perspectives and high-level strategy.

What will I be doing?

As a Client Insights Analyst in Circana’s Perishables Vertical, you will be working onsite at Materne North America in New York, New York, 2 days a week and virtually the rest of the time. You will be responsible for working collaboratively as a trusted advisor with client stakeholders to uncover meaningful insights to impact and improve Materne’s business. You will be working with big data, particularly Point of Sale (POS) and Shopper and Consumer data, to identify key insights, and recommend action steps to directly impact the bottom line for our client. In addition, you will deliver on the following:

Answer general questions regarding Circana dataCoordinate training support for the clientExecute, analyze, and present findings with actionable recommendationsProactively provide our client with thought leadership to give our client the edge in an increasingly competitive business environment.

Job Responsibilities

Client Insights Analysts at IRI possess and execute upon four key skill sets:Analytic Capability: Use a systematic approach to solving problems that involve breaking it into smaller pieces, tracking the implications of situations, generating multiple alternatives, and making comparisons of potential solutions before taking action.Quality Control: Drive to achieve high-quality results through effective data integrity.Planning and Organizing: Determine effort and resources required to meet objectives; able to plan, coordinate and manage resources effectively to ensure task completion.Client Obsessed: Consistently act with Client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the Client are met.Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research analysesGain and apply knowledge of the market using Circana’s proprietary data (Point-of Sale scanner data, panel, etc.) and secondary sources (industry reports, annual reports, etc.) and synthesize key findingsAnalyze and model market data sets leveraging a range of applied statistical techniquesAssist in creating client presentations with key strategic findings and recommendationsDevelop increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility, eventually taking on greater project management roles and client responsibilities

Requirements

3+ years of experience with syndicated data, analytics, category management, or related fieldsMarketing and/or sales with a premier Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or other companies using syndicated or POS dataDemonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implicationsExperience with consumer household data preferredStrong project management and process skillsAble to engage in consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is [$68K to $80K].
