This is a Director level position within the Internal Audit Department. Morgan Stanley is an industry leader in financial services, known for mobilizing capital to help governments, corporations, institutions and individuals around the world achieve their financial goals.About the RoleWe're seeking someone to join our diverse team of audit and assurance professionals as a technology auditor to support the Japan and Asia Internal Audit team in identifying, assessing and driving resources to areas of key technology risks and vulnerabilities, through evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of related controls.

Key ResponsibilitiesHelp identify risk and impact to relevant coverage area to prioritize areas of focusExecute and lead aspects of assurance activities (e.g., audits, continuous monitoring, closure verification) to assess risk and formulate a view on the control environmentFacilitate conversations with stakeholders on risks, their impact and how well they are managed in a clear, timely and structured mannerAssist in managing multiple deliverables in line with team prioritiesSolicit and provide feedback and participate in formal and on-the-job training to further develop self and peersQualifications, Skills & RequirementsAt least 4 years' experience in technology audit/risk management would generally be expected for this roleUnderstanding of institutional securities business and supporting functions, in addition to key related regulationsStrong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools and processes (e.g., risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring)Ability to identify and analyze multiple data sources to inform point of viewAbility to ask meaningful questions, understand various viewpoints and apply risk-based critical thinking to arrive at logical conclusionsAbility to communicate complex technical issues concisely and clearly to senior management and colleagues from other audit divisionsA commitment to practicing inclusive behaviorsBusiness-level Japanese and English verbal/written skillsRelevant professional qualifications, such as CISA, CIA, CISSPWhy Morgan Stanley?A career with Morgan Stanley means being part of an inclusive culture that encourages diverse perspectives, innovation, and cross-collaboration to bring value to our clients.
